Summer Trip 2023

Our DreamMaker Summer trip set off on Friday 7th July with 45 DreamMaker Families whose children are all at different stages of life-threatening illness and what a day it was.  This trip was made extra magical due to fantastic £5000 donation from Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust, and we are truly grateful for their support of our small charity.

 We were totally spoiled with all the fantastic goodies that were donated for the journey by local companies and businesses for our lunch goody bags for travelling down.
 When we reached Gulliver's Theme Park In Warrington and checked into our Themed rooms of Princess, Pirate, Cowboy, Nerf Gun, Love heart ( much to the kids delight). We then had dinner before going on the hunt to find Glitter Drop the unicorn and her sparkly poop
 .
After that the kids got the VIP treatment and to go on some rides all by ourselves after the park had closed for the day   .
We all went to bed happy to get ready for a full day at Gulliver's Theme Park on the Saturday.
Saturday morning we were all up early for breakfast before heading for the day in the Theme Park, the park is huge and was perfect for all of our DreamMaker families as again there is themed sections including The Lost World Dino park, Lilliput Castle, Cowboy, Gears, Gully Land and so much more.  Everyone had an Amazing day in the theme park and although we were all tired, we headed over to the Starlight Theatre for dinner and entertainment for the kids with Gully and Gilly The Gulliver's mascots.

Sunday we all checked out by 10am but we had time to spend another few hours in the Theme Park and we certainly made use of those extra hours.

This trip was one that our small team had wanted to do for a few years and by working together with Gulliver's Theme Park and the Amazing funding from Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust we were able to make it a special experience for the families..
Team DreamMaker loved seeing the children meeting new friends and running around having fun at the theme park.  We love what we do and the Smiles that we saw at the weekend is exactly why we do it.

  Thanks to everyone for making this trip special for these Brave children, we cant wait to get planning the next one .
